It will be a busy and engaging May at the Market Theatre in Ledbury, with live performances and live screenings set to entertain local audiences.

One of the highlights will be ‘All My Sons’ Live from The Old Vic, and set in 1947 America.

The contemporary face of The Royal Ballet will be shown in works by three of today’s leading choreographers – ‘Within the Golden Hour(Christopher Wheeldon)/ A New work by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui/ Flight Pattern(Crystal Pite).

Then what about operetta?

The spokesman said: "Trial by Jury’ is Gilbert and Sullivan’s humorous and well known operetta however the evening is further enhanced by the Worcester Society’s performance of the prequel ‘A Nice Dilemma’."

A rising band is in the line-up too. A spokesman said: "After 10 years of concert touring and four critically acclaimed albums the unique’ Blackheart Orchestra’ is definitely a must see band in 2019."
