HAY Camera Club has invited a nationally renowned photographer to the club on Tuesday, May 7.

Damien Demolder will give an illustrated talk with tuition and guidance on 'street photography'.

Damien was editor of Amateur Photographer for 15 years.

He is a journalist and photographic equipment expert, speaker, judge and educator. He has worked in the photographic publishing industry since 1997.

He writes for regularly for Digital Photography Review, and the British Journal of Photography magazine as well as occasionally for other UK and international photographic magazines and websites.

Peter Seaman, chairman of the club said "we extend a warm welcome members of the public to this special event. There will be a charge of £5 per person to cover costs including refreshments".

The meeting will start at 7.30pm at the Masonic Hall, Brecon Road, Hay-on-Wye. The hall is about 100 yards town side of the fire station, on the opposite side of the road.

There is a car park almost opposite and if full, it is easy to park a bit further into Hay and walk back to the hall.
