A CHARITY ball promises a spectacular night of entertainment in its final year.
Hosted by Charles and Becky Wall of A Plush Flush and John, Alan and Vicky Powell of Monnow Marquees, the Chequers Ball has raised over £100,000 for charities in Herefordshire over the last 14 years.
This year, the seventh and last ever Chequers Ball will be held on April 27 in aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance.
A vital service in our rural county, the Air Ambulance costs £2,500 each time it is called out and is funded by charitable donations.
Offering an evening of entertainment kicking off at 7pm with a champagne reception and a five course meal followed by an auction, a disco, fireworks and more, tickets for the ball are priced at £80 each and tables seat up to twelve people.
