A HEREFORD firm raised £634.50 for Help for Heroes with a staff barbecue, smashing their target of £500.
It was the first of several fundraising events planned this year by HTS Spares on the Rotherwas Estate.
The company, which supplies industrial and plant spare parts, provided raffle prizes while employees donated towards an ‘all you can eat’ BBQ.
HTS have supported a variety of charities, both local and national, over their 30-year history and this year they are fundraising for Help for Heroes. The firm have close links to the military, this is a cause close to the hearts of the HTS team.
Roy Knappett, marketing director, said “This has been our most successful fundraising event to date.”
