A ROAD was briefly closed after a tanker mounted the verge.
Hereford Highways said the A44 between Golden Cross and Eardisland was temporarily blocked this morning to enable the Mayglothling Waste tanker lorry to be recovered from the verge.
The tanker has now been recovered and the road has been re-opened.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident and the driver was shaken but otherwise uninjured.
