A YOUNG boy was caught on film risking serious injury – or even worse – when he dangled off railings above the River Wye in Hereford.
He was part of a group of teenagers seen crossing Greyfriars Bridge yesterday when he climbed over the roadside barriers.
Eye witnesses believe the boy was showing off to friends as he clung on to the fencing above the waters.
He only climbed back when it became apparent to his friends that they were being watched.
Gabriel do Nascimento took pictures of the incident before the group shouted verbal insults and made rude hand gestures towards him.
Mr do Nascimento, who thought the boys were aged around 13, said: "I know they are just kids having fun and I hate to sound like I'm being the boring adult, but something more serious could have happened."
