The Courtyard is hosting Hereford’s first singalong screenings of Bohemian Rhapsody (12A) next week

The two special screenings of the Freddie Mercury/Queen biopic will be shown with song lyrics shown live on screen for audiences to join in with some of Britain’s best-loved tunes.

Bringing out all the anthems, this dramatisation is a story of one of the biggest bands of our time, focusing on the life of bisexual icon, the extraordinary Freddie Mercury. Shunning stereotypes, and embracing the glamour-filled, rock ‘n’ roll zenith of an incredible discography, Freddie pursues a solo career, but returns to his bandmates in time for Live Aid. Facing his recent diagnosis of AIDS, he takes to the stage for a legendary performance.

Head of film at The Courtyard, Simon Nicholls said: “As the film was voted audience favourite two months in a row in December and January we felt that it was only right to bring it back to our main house screen. We’re very excited to be the first cinema in Hereford to be showing a singalong version of this Oscar winning film!”

Singalong Bohemian Rhapsody (12A) will be screened at The Courtyard on Monday, March 23 at 5.15pm and Friday, March 29 at 7.30pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
