A GROUP of parents will cycle from Bromyard to Minehead next month to raise funds for St Michael’s Hospice in Bartestree.
The eight cyclists all have children who play for Bromyard FC Under 11s who are taking part in a tournament in the Somerset town.
The parents will cycle the 134 miles in the two days before the tournament on April 27 and 28, setting off from The Snugg at 8am on Thursday April 25.
The journey will also raise funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital, which has provided specialist treatment to two of the Under 11s players.
As well as the cycle, the parents are holding other fundraising opportunities such as hampers being offered as raffle prizes in local pubs and coffee shops, and school non-uniform days.
