THESE two Chinese children are pictured enjoying life at their Hereford school.
They walked through the gates of Tupsley Infants School in 1963 unable to speak a word of English.
But Keung, 9, and sister Ching, 7, who came to Britain with their parents, quickly adjusted to life in the county with Keung becoming a star player in the school football team.
Their headmaster Mr W Davies said: "Now that they have learned English, it's impossible to stop them."
The family lived on Haford Road and ran a Chinese restaurant in the city.
