A COUNTY charity will be hosting a "spectacular auction of promises" in aid of traumatised and displaced children.
The Teddy Trust, which collects and provides stuffed toys to children around the world suffering the traumas of war, starvation or abuse is holding the auction to raise the vital funds needed to continue its work.
Featuring a wide variety of lots ranging from a two night stay near Hay-On-Wye, to a day salmon fishing on the Wye or a day at the races for four amongst others, the auction will be held in Kingsland's Coronation Hall at 7pm on April 5.
Catalogues and tickets, to include a cheese and wine supper, are priced at £10 and are available from Kingsland Post Office, or call 01544 327835 for reservations.
