THE Knighton and District Rotary Club had another busy time last month with a mixture of relaxed meetings, sociable fundraising and an inspiring speaker.

The first lunch of the month was at the newly refurbished Milebrook House Hotel where members were very well looked after. A venue for occasional future meetings.

The following week members welcomed Rotary Friends and guests to a quiz and supper at regular venue, the Baron in Bucknell. This was a fundraiser for Rotary's End Polio Now project and was very enjoyed by all.

The month finished off with Di Emmett from the Breast Cancer Haven in Hereford telling members about the amazing work the charity undertakes for those who have, or are recovering from, breast cancer.

Knighton Rotary is proud to have the Haven as one of their chosen charities for this Rotary year.
