An appeal has been launched to find a cat after the pet hid inside a neighbour's car.
Rio was then driven from Hereford to Knighton and soon leapt out of the vehicle when it stopped near the Welsh border town.
Amy Bedford, Rio's owner, has drawn up posters in the hope of finding the four-year-old cat.
She said the driver had no idea Rio was in the car until she saw him run off into fields.
Rio is microchipped and is wearing a light grey collar – but Ms Bedford said this could easily come free.
The cat made the free trip 30 miles west on February 27 and has not been seen since.
Anyone with information is asked to call Ms Bedford on 07773399073.
