ON Thursday, March 21 the Wigmore and District Gardening Club welcome Jim Almond to speak about Alpines.
Jim is a retired biomedical scientist from Shropshire who has been interested in alpines and dwarf bulbs for over 30 years.
He is an AGS exhibitor, grows plants from seed and is an obsessive propagator.
He lectures widely on the subject and has spoken to the club in recent years.
This promises to be a very interesting talk by an inspiring speaker.
Venue: Wigmore Village Hall, HR6 9UW
Cost: £2 for non-members, with membership being £5 per annum. Everyone is warmly welcome.
