A little princess called Leah is proving a star with her commitment to help others.
Eight-year-old Leah Gwynne is set to have her 21-inches of hair cut into a Harper Beckham bob to raise money for charity.
At the same time her cut hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children who have lost their's through illness.
Leah, of Grandstand Road, Hereford, has set herself a target of raising £1,000 and is already more than half way there.
The Trinity Primary School pupil has been deliberately growing her hair for a year.
She said: "I was upset when I saw a little girl with hardly any hair and I said to my mother Lyndsey that she could have some of mine.
"My mum then told me about the Little Princess Trust and asked if I could do it.
"I really want to help someone else, not just with my hair but fundraising and getting the charity name in the public."
Leah's locks will be cut on Saturday, March 2, by Carys at the Contrast Hair Salon.
"My head teacher, Mrs Kathy Weston, has supported my campaign I have quite a bit of money so far with the help of Alexander Park Golf & Spa , Skinzophrenic Tattoo, Edwards Plaice - which have the best chips ever - and my daddy at Hereford Carpets."
