A Herefordshire author has a new book out this week (Feb 15) exploring some of the lesser known churches in the area.
The Churches of the Marches is by John Kinross and contains a Foreword by Bishop of Hereford Richard Frith.
The full-colour book explores the history behind the smaller churches of Herefordshire, Shropshire, Cheshire and the Welsh borders.
They are home to some extraordinary relics.
Mr Kinross is a member of 'Friends of Friendless Churches' and a lay reader. He has previously written a number of books on churches and castles across England and Wales.
The book, which is 96 pages and contains 100 illustrations, is priced £14.99 and is published by Amberley Publishing of Stroud.
