Rip Stop Theatre Company bring Susannah and the Sunflower to The Courtyard this February.

Susannah dreams of an amazing flower garden and when the Wizard thanks her for looking after his cow by giving her three magical seeds, her dream starts to grow. Following in the footsteps of Jack and the Beanstalk she embarks on a fantastical shadow adventure.

Ripstop Theatre was formed in 1998 by Zannie Fraser to create shadow theatre productions for young people. Since then, they have been creating, performing and touring innovative theatre shows for family audiences up and down the country and, in 2003, were the first British company to perform at the International Shadow Theatre Festival in Germany.

Susannah and the Sunflower is part of The Courtyard Family Saturdays where children are able to take part in a free, pre-show activity to make a paper plate sunflower from 10.30am.
