THE Herefordshire Wildlife Trust were delighted to receive a donation of £600, raised by members of their Kington local branch group.
This is to spend on creating a new leaflet promoting their local nature reserve, Birches Farm.
The leaflet will include information on the history and the wildlife at the site and include a map for visitors.
Birches Farm is best known for its wonderful wildflower meadows which are a treat throughout spring, summer and into autumn.
At the presentation, Herefordshire Wildlife Trust’s estates manager, James Hitchcock, gave an insightful and entertaining talk about Herefordshire Wildlife Trust’s nature reserves.
