OTTERS have been spotted splashing about under Hereford's Old Bridge.
The playful creatures were filmed feeding in the river by Rob Mitchell.
Mr Mitchell said: "They casually continued feeding at dusk with quite a few people watching them.
"It was great to see!"
Otters in England remain relatively scarce, with populations hit hard by pollution, hunting and habitat loss in the 1960s and 1970s.
But, according to the Wye and Usk foundation, otter populations are now recovering well, with the Wye holding one of the densest and most well-established populations in Britain.
