A cast of twenty colourful characters are set to take to the stage in Knighton for Teme Spirits' performance of Humpty Dumpty –The Egg’s Factor.

The pantomime which is written by Jack Clancy, will be performed at Knighton Community Centre on Friday, February 1 and Saturday, February 2.

The colourful cast, which is well supported by a hard working behind the scenes crew, aims to 'eggscite' and entertain the audience as they watch the story unfold.

Humpty Dumpty is played by Matt Price, supported by Graham Rimmer as Mother Hubbard, Sam Bryan-Harris as Tommy Tucker, Megan Roberts as Polly Flinders and Sandra Sharp playing Mystic Myrtle.

Producer Carole Pigram said: “This is the first time we have ever done this pantomime, I think it’s fairly new. Because we did Cinderella last year, which is probably the most loved and well known traditional pantomime, we wanted to do something completely different this year.”

Performances will be at 7.30pm on Friday, February 1 (bar and doors open at 6.45pm) and at 2.30pm (bar and doors open 1.45pm) and 7.30pm (bar and doors open at 6.45pm) on Saturday, February 2.

Tickets for the three shows are on sale from the Tower House Gallery and PCB Solicitors and they cost £8.50 for adults and £5.50 for primary school ages.
