A WEOBLEY primary school teacher stars alongside pop icons Take That in a new primetime TV advert set to air this Saturday.

Take That superfan Sarah O'Neil had a "surreal but phenomenal" surprise when the band stopped by at the rural primary school for a sing-a-long which, unbeknownst to her, was to be turned into an advert for Suzuki and ITV.

Nominated for the surprise visit by colleague Sharon Thomas, Ms O'Neil, who has a wall dedicated to the band in her classroom, was teaching the children Take That hit Greatest Day when Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald walked in to the school's hall.

The band then joined the class in a rousing rendition of the hit song before being shown around the school by Ms O'Neil.

Ms O'Neil, whose love of the band is well-known throughout the school, said: "Meeting the band is a dream come true. I still won't quite believe it happened until I see the advert!

"It wasn't just a treat for me, but also for many of my friends and colleagues, and the children were overwhelmed to meet the band their teacher has been talking about for all this time.

"I was accompanying the children on the piano to Greatest Day when they turned up and I was so shocked that I just couldn't stop playing."

The advert will be aired during the breaks of some of ITV's most popular Saturday night shows between January 26 and February 9 and more surprises are already planned in the #bringthefun campaign.
