POLICE taped off an industrial unit in Hereford this morning.
The police cordon was on the corner where Burcott Road meets Mortimer Road on Thursday morning.
There was a police car and a police officer stationed next to the cordon, which has now left the scene.
The police's Hereford City Northside Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "The police cordon was in place to prevent anyone gaining access to an industrial site following an incident which happened yesterday.
"The incident caused concern for a small number of people who had been working on the site, all of whom have now sought medical advice and/or treatment.
"Information about the incident has been passed to the Local Authority and to the Health and Safety Executive and police are no longer on the scene."
A HSE spokesperson said: "HSE is aware of the incident and will be attending the site tomorrow.”
