Always on the look-out for unusual shows, Arts Alive is delighted to invite audiences to join Ordnance Survey enthusiast, Helen Wood, for a humorous exploration of the much-loved, fold-out, paper map, as she presents The O.S. Map Fan Club.

This Edinburgh Fringe sell-out show takes a fascinating, laughter-filled, virtual ramble and celebrates the simple beauty of Britain’s inspiring national treasure. Helen introduces key characters from Ordnance Survey history, grapples with a selection of rambling gadgets and shares out the Kendal Mint Cake.

It’s a show tailor-made for our beautiful border countryside and its many walkers, and one which another touring scheme has described as ‘a perfect rural touring show.’ Suitable for adults and teenagers, the show will probably have the greatest appeal to the many people who just love poring over a proper map!

Join the OS Map Fan Club at The Conquest Theatre in Bromyard at 7.30pm on Saturday, January 26. To book, call the box office on 01885 488575 or visit conquest-theatre.co.uk to book online.
