SOME of our favourite images, shared with us by members of the Hereford Times Camera Club took us on a tour of some of the sights of the county this week.

Whilst many classic cars spend their winters tucked away in garages, our Camera Club picture of the day from Martin Prior shows his 1933 Austin Seven proving more than a match for some of this year's most difficult weather conditions.

The 86-year-old Herefordshire registered car remains in daily use throughout the year and was not to be defeated by the arrival of the Beast from the East.

A familiar sight in our skies but maybe not at such close range, our Camera Club picture of the day taken by Cliff Spooner perfectly captures the motion of a pair of starlings.

A stunning juxtaposition of memorials old and new features in our picture of the day, beautifully captured by Camera Club member Malcolm Hince.

Dappled light falls through Hereford Cathedral's Special Air Service memorial window on to the tomb and effigy of one of the earliest appointed Knights of the Garter, Sir Richard Pembridge, who died in 1375.

Lost in the forest or a quirky art installation? Decaying bicycles hang amongst the branches, exuding an air of mystery in our Camera Club picture of the day, taken by Jan Latusek.

The whimsical display, created by horticulturalists David Wheeler and Simon Dorrell, occupies just a small corner of Bryan's Ground, an internationally renowned contemporary reinterpretation of an Arts and Crafts garden in Stapleton, near Presteigne.

A lone fisherman braves the chilly weather and winter mists on the Wye as the lights of the Rowing Club glow on the water's surface in our Camera Club picture of the day, taken by Linda Thomas.

A central feature of the lives and leisure activities of many in the county, the River Wye winds its way through some of Herefordshire's most breathtaking scenery as it makes its way from its source in the Cambrian Mountains to its mouth in the Severn Estuary.
