THE Rotary Club of Leominster is pleased to announce that one of its members, David Bromley, has been awarded the highest accolade within Rotary - the Paul Harris Fellow award.

This award was established in 1957 and recognises the substantial contribution that individuals have made to the Rotary Foundation fund and to their community.

The award was presented by the father of the club, Arthur Davis, himself a holder of the award, at the Christmas dinner.

The Rotary Club would also like to thank all those in the community who came to their stall at the Victorian Street Market and also for contributing to the collection outside the Coop on the Friday before Christmas.

The two events raised over £850 which will be used to help a variety of excellent causes within the Leominster area.

If you wish to find out more about how you can help Rotary and the community, please contact our membership officer, Geoffrey Crofts on 01568 615706 or email rotaryclubofleominster@hotmail.co.uk.

The club meets of the first and third Tuesdays of the month at Leominster Golf Club (6pm for 6.30pm) and potential members are always welcome.
