DID you see the spectacular show of shooting stars over Herefordshire this week?
Keen photographer Andy Richardson did... but he had to brave freezing temperatures to get these photos!
The Geminids are one of the best meteor showers of the year, and are best seen in mid December.
The individual meteors are bright, and arrive at blistering speed and intensity.
This year, there were more than one a minute, reaching100 meteors an hour.
Andy, who lives in Hereford, said: "The shower peaked last night (Friday) at 2am, and at one point there were about four or five a minute.
"It was an amazing show, spoilt only by some lingering cloud that was reflecting too much artificial light!
"Oh, and plus the fact it was minus 3C!"
