VISITOR facilities at Berrington Hall have been given a welcome facelift.
The team at the National Trust property near Leominster have been planning the refurbishment for some time.
“As a charity, we rely on funds raised by our supporters and every time someone chooses to visit us," said Berrington's operations manager Ana Vaughan.
"So that we’re doing our bit to make Berrington last, for ever, for everyone, we are always looking to improve the visitor experience, and we are so pleased to have made these improvements.”
The work has included a restructure of the layout of the facilities, including a new women’s bathroom, new disabled facilities with specially selected equipment, as well as an updated baby changing area.
Berrington Hall is now open for ‘Christmas with the Georgians’ on weekends only. This offers visitors carriage rides, a chance to see the mansion dressed for Christmas and a new children’s trail ‘King George’s Plumb Pudding trail’.
