A PAIR of chartered surveyors from Hereford has taken on a 160ft fundraising challenge in aid of a charity which supports seriously ill children and their families.

Abbie Lewis and Lucy Gilbert took part in a bungee jump to raise funds for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.

The pair, who work at property agency Fisher German in Worcester, took on the challenge with the UK Bungee Club at Cliff Lakes, near Tamworth.

They have raised £380 for the charity, which is Fisher German’s chosen charity for 2018 and aims to ensure that every seriously ill child in the UK has the best possible healthcare to support them.

Abbie said: “We wanted to do a stand-out challenge to raise money for our chosen charity so decided to take on a bungee jump.

“We were slightly nervous at first, but it was a very well-organised event and a really fun challenge to take part in.”

Lucy added: “Our original fundraising target was £300 so it’s brilliant that we’ve managed to exceed this thanks to a lot of support from our colleagues, family and friends.”
