BROMYARD'S Nozstock Festival, which celebrated its twentieth anniversary this year in style with a sell out weekend, is already gearing up for 2019.

The award winning family run festival, which takes place on a working farm near Bromyard counts itself among the UK's longest running festivals played host this year to some 5000 revellers, with its eclectic mix of entertainers and performers covering a huge range of genres, from big name artists such as Chase & Status, Goldfrapp and Grandmaster Flash, to magic shows and comedy performances from artists including Reginald D Hunter.

Following the success of the 2018 festival, Nozstock organisers have announced a series of changes that will be introduced to help keep the festival as family friendly as possible.

With a high level of demand anticipated, plans are underway to expand and improve family camping to accommodate more tents and to increase the number of on-site toilets by 25 per cent, introducing child-friendly toilets to the family camping area. Basic essential supplies including sanitiser, plasters and suncream will also be available to family campers in 2019.

A 'save your space' scheme is also being introduced, with a limited number of five square metre pitches available to book for groups who want to camp together.

Younger festival-goers will also be better catered for, with the Little Wonderland kids area expanded to include a breastfeeding area and provide more activities aimed at older children, offering free workshops in break dancing, graffiti and up-cycling clothes, amongst other activities.

Ella Nosworthy, who runs Nozstock alongside her father and family said: "We are still smiling at how amazing out twentieth anniversary was. Selling out was really great, and we had a packed site. It was lovely to see everyone having so much fun and to see so many kids on site really getting into everything.

"We wanted to announce some new elements for next year after listening to feedback and realising there are some simple things we can do to enhance the experience for families."

Nozstock 2019 will open its gates to festivalgoers from Thursday July 18 to 21. For more information and tickets, visit www.nozstock.com
