The Courtyard Children’s Christmas Show, directed by David Durant, returns for its fifth year with Snow White.

In this classic tale with a twist, Snow White follows Mr Huntsman into the woods where she quickly finds out that all is not as it seems. Will her evil stepmother succeed in becoming the fairest of them all? Written by Nick Lane, this show features plenty of audience interaction and original songs as it tells the story of Snow White who discovers that with friendship and a song in her heart, she can overcome anything. Snow White is aimed at a younger audience and perfect for children aged seven and under, and their grown-ups.

The show is performed by actors Katie Haygarth and Scott Waugh who each play multiple roles, using creative storytelling to encourage children to use their imagination and incorporating interactive puppetry and lots of familiar characters.

Join The Courtyard for another magical Courtyard Christmas Family show and get to know Snow White in this enchanting reworking of a beloved story and find out who really is the fairest of them all.

Snow White will also be a part of Courtyard Family Saturdays. Audience members are invited to take part in a free, festive pre-activity from 10.30am before the 11am show on Saturday mornings.

Snow White will be in The Courtyard’s Studio Theatre from Saturday, December 8 to Monday, December 31. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
