WHEN Father Christmas visited Queenswood Country Park on December 1-2, Herefordshire Wildlife Trust encouraged children to make a 'wish for wildlife' and hang it on the wishing tree, before heading into the magical grotto!
Some of the wishes the children had made were beautiful, proving just how much nature and wildlife matters to them.
A heart-warming read, providing a true sense of Christmas hope for the future of Herefordshire's wildlife.
Some of the messages included "I wish for birds to have a worm", "I wish that the hedgehogs stay nice and warm" and "I wish that all animals in the wild have homes and are warm through winter".
