THE school leavers from summer 2018 were celebrated at another successful presentation evening at the Bishop of Hereford’s Bluecoat School.
The well attended event welcomed not only the Mayor of Hereford, Councillor Sue Boulter, but also Professor Dave Allen from the city's new university NMITE who gave a most interesting talk to the students on why education is important and why they should continue.
The school's former head of physical education, John Escott, presented his cup for excellence in sport while Richard Eccleston, the managing director of Bartestree firm Oak Leaf Gates, was on hand to meet the students who had won the making and designing awards in technology.
