BARBARA Graham’s colourful paintings and greetings cards, of well-loved rural views will be familiar to many.
Supported by late husband Clive, she exhibited in Hereford for many years.
Painter Sue Edwards, an award winner of this year’s h. Art Prize, only recently moved to Hereford.
She and Barbara shared a flat as students at Leeds College of Art, kept in touch over the years, and only now are getting together for one last time, before she moves away.
“Barbara’s sense of humour and dedication to her artwork, is the same as it was all those years ago”, says Sue.
Barbara is moving to be near her daughter in Cheshire and is selling off her whole stock of greetings cards. So there are bargains to be had, ideal for gifts, and Sue is also having a sale of limited edition lithographs of flowers and landscapes. There will be a donation from the proceeds to Hereford MS Society.
There will also be many other beautiful arts and crafts gifts of all kinds on sale and entry is free.
The first Hereford City Museum Arts and Crafts Fair, in The Library building in Broad Street, is on December 7-8 from 10am - 4pm.
