Bowls challenge to result in annual event
DORSTONE Bowls Club members were entertained by Hereford U3A bowlers known as The Saxon Bowlers at the Richmond Place Club in Hereford on November 17.
The challenge was for the Crown Green bowlers to play short mat bowls against their hosts.
It was a happy and enjoyable time with the winners being The Saxon Bowlers.
So enjoyable was the day that both captains were in agreement that an annual event should be arranged.
