A HEREFORD opticians turned its store pink on to help raise awareness and money for Breast Cancer Haven, as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The team at Specsavers in Maylord Street dressed in pink for the day and raised £93 for the national cancer charity. Customers were also able to treat themselves to bags of sweets for a donation.
Store director, Nialle Smith says: 'The team and I are tickled pink to have raised £93 for Breast Cancer Haven. We had a fantastic day supporting this important cause and would like to thank everyone who donated.
Breast Cancer Haven supports women through breast cancer treatment by offering free advice and support in one of its national centres. Its trained professional nurses, therapists, counsellors and advisors are able to give practical and emotional support to anyone affected by the disease.
