A MASQUERADE ball is being held on Friday, March 8 at The Left Bank in Hereford in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

The glamorous event will include reception drinks with local all-girl cello quartet Cellissimo, a three course meal, an auction and a raffle, with live entertainment from many Herefordshire names, including singer saxophonist Andy Libby, disco from Roddy Hankins, and professional photography by Mark Bushkes.

Local actor and ringmaster Chris Barltrop will be compering throughout the evening, and Kerry Scorah, a close up magician who is one of the few ladies in the Magic Circle, will also be astonishing guests with her sleight of hand skills.

The event aims to raise £10,000 for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, which last year attended 571 missions in Herefordshire and Worcestershire alone.

Mary Seldon, Herefordshire fundraising executive for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: "Herefordshire's community is such a close knit one, and being in the countryside means we all have a massive appreciation of what Midlands Air Ambulance Charity does for our residents.

"Each mission undertaken by the lifesaving charity costs on average £2,500, so we hope by holding a prestigious evening such as this, vital funds can be raised to go towards future missions. There will also be prizes on the evening for best dressed man and woman, so I hope to see everyone looking glamorous in their best evening attire!"

The event is being sponsored by Strickland Wealth Management. Tickets cost £50 per person, or £450 for a table of ten.
