Join us in Bredwardine village hall for one of our regular workshops, which run from 1:00pm until 4:00pm each Friday. December dates are 14th and 21st. Bring your own materials to the Friday sessions but be inspired by what others are doing too. The art group operates on a drop-in basis; it costs £5 a week to join and this includes the cost of tea and biscuits.
Each member of the group painted one or more poppies in a variety of styles and media. These have been included in a national exhibition organized by the SAA. And, as part of the village Armistice Day remembrances 13 of the poppies were used to create a large and beautiful poster for the village hall. Try to see it if you haven’t already.
On Friday, December 7th, the group has it’s annual Christmas lunch and this year it is at The Castlefields. Although some of the group will be painting afterwards this is not a general session.
Several paintings displayed at the Beer in Hand microbrewery in Hereford have sold and the club is thrilled to be extending the exhibition with the addition of some new works.
