LADS Club are preparing to play two games in three days, but manager Danny Moon says that their league derby match against Pegasus Juniors will take priority.

Moon's side were missing 12 players for their trip to Dudley Town on Saturday, but came away with a 2-1 victory thanks to goals from Chris Gwynne and Ashley Lear.

"Half the team were away in Cardiff on Saturday, three were injured and some were working," said Moon.

"The squad we got together weren't a bad team, a couple of players had to play in different positions but we played really well."

This week they travel to Bilston Town Community in the Premier Division League Cup on Wednesday night before visiting Pegasus Juniors on Friday.

"We will have a go in the cup game and give some players a chance who haven't had as much game-time," added Moon.

"We want to win the derby game and get up the league and will have six or seven players back.

"Pegasus are hard to beat despite not picking up many wins. They have a go and work hard and are getting better every year.

"We will treat them the same as top of the table who we have got to beat."

Pegasus are without a league win since their last local derby tie against Wellington in August which they won 1-0.

Last weekend they suffered a 2-1 defeat by Haughmond with captain Kyle Panniers pulling a goal back late from the penalty spot.

Haughmond travel to Old School Lane again for their league cup tie on Tuesday.

Wellington suffered their second league defeat in three games as Bewdley Town came from a goal down to win 3-2.

George Hayes and Saul Thomas both scored to give Welly a 2-1 lead at half-time before the visitors equalised and went on to score an 82nd minute winner.

They travel to Ludlow to play Shawbury United in the league cup on Wednesday night.
