ON Friday children from Much Birch Co E Primary School recited poems and writings to commemorate the end of the First World War at a ceremony on the Rosemary Rigby Millennium Green.
The service was conducted by the Reverend Mark Johnson and attended by many county dignitaries including the the Mayor of Hereford Sue Boulter.
For the event, marble kerbing had been installed around the commemorative liquid amber tree by builder Glenn Sims and paid for by an anonymous donor.
