On Saturday, November 10, Music in New Radnor continue their concert season with an evening of classical music from Bristol-based Syrinx Ensemble. Founded by oboist Jane Finch in 2000, Syrinx Ensemble consists of players from a variety of orchestras and ensembles across the south west. Syrinx Ensemble members can all include ensemble playing, orchestral section leading and principal musicians, as well as radio and recording artists in their impressive CVs. The ensemble’s guest pianist will be Miss Cheuky Chan, a holder of the Postgraduate Diploma in Répétiteur and Accompaniment from the Wales International Academy of Voice.

Mary Tolhurst, speaking for MiNR says ‘We are delighted to be hosting the Syrinx Ensemble in November. They are all highly-regarded professional players and their concerts have great variety, typically including music from film scores as well as works ranging from Mozart to Richard Rodney Bennet.
