A FUNDRAISING group for Cancer Research UK could soon close unless more volunteers are found.
There are fundraising groups throughout the country for Cancer Research UK and there is one based in Herefordshire which has been going for 40 years called The Lugg Valley Group.
They have raised £250,000 during that time.
James Rogers, local fundraising manager (Gloucestershire & Herefordshire), said the six women who run the group are not able to any longer.
He said: "They are closing the group. We have got a few months now to try and get some more people involved."
He said volunteers could get involved in whatever way they wanted, either on the fundraising committee or by running specific events.
