LADS Club created another piece of club history as they reached the FA Vase second round thanks to a 2-0 victory over Paget Rangers.

Kiea Cowley was once again instrumental in the success and netted the opening goal after hitting his strike from the edge of the box into the top corner.

Within 25 minutes Lads Club had sealed the tie with Cowley's free-kick headed home by Jamie Cuthbertson.

Danny Moon's side had chances to kill off any possible fightback with further goals but settled for their two goal win.

Lads Club will face another Midlands Division One side in the form of Hickley AFC in the second round on November 3 with the winner receiving £900

"It would have been nice to get a home tie but we will have a good trip away and it's a side steeped in history," said Moon.

"Hopefully it's a game we can see ourselves winning and we will probably take one or two coaches of fans.

"Hopefully we can push on, get into the third round and create more history. You never know we could get close to Wembley if we get certain draws."
