Edinburgh Fringe, Best Musical Award winning production A Super Happy Story (About Feeling Super Sad) is coming to The Courtyard this October.

Sally’s a happy person. She doesn’t let little things get her down and almost never cries. But she’s got an illness. It makes her feel like she isn’t the person she wants to be, but she doesn’t want anyone to know about it.

Madeline MacMahon, long-standing Courtyard panto cast member, stars alongside Sophie Clay and Ed Yelland in A Super Happy Story (About Feeling Super Sad), a hilarious cabaret musical about depression that explains, sings, and throws glitter about how it’s OK not to be OK.

Written by Olivier award winner Jon Brittain and with music from Matthew Floyd Jones (Frisky and Mannish) this is a joyful, buoyant, gleeful, slightly silly, sugar coated, unrelenting and completely super happy show! Except for the bits about depression.

Due to the nature of the content and strong language in this production there is a recommended age restriction of 16+.

A Super Happy Story (About Feeling Super Sad) will be at The Courtyard on Tuesday, October 16 at 7.30pm. To book call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit www.courtyard.org.uk.
