As part of the National Lottery Cinema Day, The Courtyard will be offering free cinema tickets to selected films for anyone who has purchased a Lotto ticket for draws between 26 and 29 September.

National Lottery players have helped fund thousands of projects across the British film industry since 1994. They have supported and nurtured new talent through nationwide training and development schemes as well as engaging the next generation through educational initiatives in local schools and at BFI Academies.

This event is a ‘thank you’ to those who have been supporting these projects by taking part in the Lotto draw each week and The Courtyard are delighted to be involved in the celebration.

Courtyard film programmer Toki Allison says “It’s also a lovely opportunity to open our doors to new audiences and to showcase the breadth of our cinema programme. We like to make sure the offer is representative of great cinema out there - whether that’s personal dramas like The Rider, topical, political big-hitters like BlackkKlansman, classics from the archive of top British talent like Fever Pitch, featuring a baby-faced Colin Firth, or romantic comedies with a twist like Anchor and Hope. It’s a nice opportunity for us to celebrate what we can offer, as a community venue and an arthouse cinema.”

Please note that Lotto ticket holders must be over 16 and only tickets for draws between 26 and 29 September will be accepted.

The Courtyard will be celebrating National Lottery Cinema Day on Sunday 30 September from 12pm. To book tickets, or for more information contact the Box Office on 01432 340555 or visit www.courtyard.org.uk.
