YOUNG people will have their voices heard when they talk about identity and individuality at a conference in Hereford.
Everyone is Someone is a free event taking place on September 28 at the No Wrong Door building on Blackfriars Street.
Young people aged 14 to 25 are being invited to take part when there will be workshops and discussions about identity and what life is like for a young person in Herefordshire.
It is designed to be accessible to all aspects of identity from gender to self-expression, race to beliefs, sexuality to language and more.
Anthea McIntyre, an MEP from Ross-on-Wye, will open the conference and free lunch will be provided by Dominos.
Will Edwards, Project Co-ordinator at No Wrong Door, said: “The conference has been organised and designed by young people and by partners of No Wrong Door.
"As well as young people we’ve invited a number of key decision makers so they can hear the unedited views of Herefordshire's young people as they discuss the challenges of multi-faceted identities and how these can be addressed, promoting acceptance within our local community.”
No Wrong Door is a HVOSS project funded by the West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner's Office which supports young people in Herefordshire.
