A CHINESE takeaway owner has surrendered her licence to sell alcohol on the premises.
A licence review was launched at Summer Palace in Widemarsh Street in Hereford following a multi-agency operation.
The raid on June 15 found one man working in the kitchen who was in the UK illegally.
Herefordshire Council's Licensing Committee heard yesterday the premises licence has been surrendered so a review is no longer applicable.
This means the takeaway will no longer be allowed to sell or supply alcohol or sell hot food or hot drink between 11pm and 5am.
