BROADWAY superstar Lin Manuel Miranda paid a visit to Hay-on-Wye and raved about the town to his 2.4 million Twitter followers.
The writer, who penned and starred in the smash hit musical Hamilton, was in the town with his wife on Bank Holiday Monday.
He tweeted: "Oh you KNOW the fam and I took the weekend to roll up on Hay-on-Wye, the bookshop capital of the world and go BUCKWILD on these booksellers."
His wife Vanessa Nadal also took to the site to express her love for the town and paid particular attention to Shepherd's Ice Cream Parlour, tweeting a photo of her treat captioned: "Best lime-mint ice cream I ever did eat."
The couple, who are currently visiting the UK from their home in the US, could not contain their excitement for the town.
Lin, who also wrote the songs for Disney's Moana excitedly tweeted: "My wife is CRAZY FOR HAY ON WYE".
