Oxford United kicked off another season in League One this August and Manager Karl Robinson will hope he can build on the Yellows’ 16th place finish from a season ago. Oxford United have come a long way in the last decade and it wasn’t too long ago that they were playing in non-league football.

The club’s supporters are as diehard as any in England and abroad. With over 150,000 people located in the town, the Yellows represent a sizeable spot in England where football is king. This season many supporters will want to find a place to watch Oxford United’s fixtures. There are a few places you can go to watch the team play and fight for promotion to the Championship.

Oxford Mail:

Oxford United – iFollow

Streaming matches live is one of the great features of the internet and iFollow gives Oxford United fans based outside the United Kingdom the chance to watch every kick of the ball. The digital streaming service was unveiled last season to great success. Subscribers pay £110 for the entire season – less than a season ticket – to watch over 1,500 matches. Depending on Oxford United’s matches being carried by television stations abroad, supporters could view all 46 matches featuring the Yellows. The only problem with iFollow is unavailability of the platform in the UK. Hopefully, football clubs and television providers in the U.K. will figure out just how important showing live matches via television and streaming is to fans.

From 2019, League One teams, including Oxford United, will be able to stream matches through their website via their iFollow feed. As long as the matches fall outside the dreaded 14:45 to 17:15 window, supporters will be able to see the fixtures. Perhaps one day that archaic rule will be abolished.

Oxford United – Kassam Stadium

Of course, the best place to see Robinson and Oxford United is live at the Kassam Stadium. Opened in 2001, the Kassam Stadium looks very much like a stadium of its time. The ground replaced the club’s former home, the Manor Ground. Currently, 12,000 fans can watch Oxford United play on matchday. The club will play 23 League One matches at home giving supporters plenty of opportunities to watch the Yellows live.

Oxford United – Live on Sky

Throughout the League One season, Sky Sports will show live games from the competition. Whether Oxford United are shown live on the channel will be down to Sky’s discretion. Of course, supporters of the Yellows will hope the sports mega channel does broadcast one or two games this term. You’ll also benefit from all the games and season’s review and analyses thanks to Sky’s strong team of commentators.

Oxford United – Sling TV/ESPN 3

The United States is far ahead of England when it comes to cutting the cable. The country has several television streaming services that show top-rated sports. While football – soccer – is still a niche sport in the U.S., streaming services are raking in money due to showing games. In 2017, Sling Orange and ESPN 3 began airing League One matches during international breaks. Oxford United fans may once again be able to stream matches via the service as long as they are outside the United Kingdom.
