THE Friends of St Thomas a Becket Church are delighted to announce their next event - a talk from agricultural auctioneer Julian Gallimore entitled What Am I Bid?
Mr Gallimore will be recalling a professional career spanning 46 years, exploring with anecdotes, observations and revelations, his love for Hereford cattle and the breed's 200-year history.
His talk, illustrated with a selection of photographs from his own collection, will recall the many interesting and varied personalities and animals, encountered during his long and fascinating career.
A free party will follow the concert where wine and homemade canapés will be served.
The event, starting from 7.30pm, will be held in St Thomas à Becket Church, Huntington, HR5 3PZ on Saturday, September 15.
