A MULTI-MILLIONAIRE who went to secondary school in Leominster has donated £1m to the campaign group calling for a public vote on the final Brexit deal.
Superdry co-founder Julian Dunkerton gave the money to the People’s Vote campaign to help push for a referendum on the deal.
When he was 14 he moved to Herefordshire from London and he went to the Minster School in Leominster, which was later demolished to make way for Earl Mortimer College.
In 1985 he developed Cheltenham-based chain Cult Clothing before co-founding fashion brand Superdry. He now has an estimated wealth of £460 million.
In 2014, he took over the award-winning Dunkertons Cider, established in 1980 in Herefordshire by his parents Ivor and Susie. He has moved the cider company from its founding site in Pembridge to Cheltenham.
Julian lives near Cheltenham. Last week he married designer Jade Holland Cooper.
