HEREFORD FC have signed Welsh winger Jordan Lam after international clearance was granted.

The ‘direct winger’ comes from Welsh Premiership side Cardiff Met.

“The clearance is done so he’s now eligible to play but it wasn’t done in time for today,” said Hereford manager Pete Beadle.

“He will train on Tuesday and Thursday with us and trained last Thursday very well and we will see if he’s ready for us on Saturday.

“He’s an out and out winger and you look at today with our wide players. Lance (Smith) is not a wide player, Lewis (Hall) is probably a left midfielder stroke left-back and that showed today.

“Hopefully he will give us something different as he’s very direct and positive in his play. We have watched him for a couple of seasons so we are delighted to have him on board.

“He’s 24 so at a good age and he’s joining us at a good time.”
